The season's "must-have" list for flats:
1. The black “soccer-mom” flat (I personally loathe berkonstocks and abhor the sneaker look unless running a marathon);
2. The little red patent flat (scrumptious)
3. The classic pink ballet flat (the ballet pointe shoe maker Bloch has just come out with a street version of the traditional ballet slipper for traditionalists)
4. The ultimate comfort flat the running shoe disguised as a flat: Puma and Sketcher have great ones perfect for every leg-length and body type
